Your professional desert guide will take you through the protected Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve in a vintage Land Rover – just like in the 1950s, when these legendary vehicles were first introduced to the UAE. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating stories about the region’s unique wildlife, desert plants and the traditional life of the Bedouins, who once survived in this harsh environment.

As the sun slowly sets behind the golden dunes, enjoy a magical sunset accompanied by a breathtaking falconry show – a true highlight of any authentic Dubai desert tour. Afterwards, a delicious Emirati dinner awaits you under the starry sky. If you wish, you can unwind with aromatic shisha and end the evening with traditional Tanoura, drumming or Yola performances.

Meeting Point

The meeting point is either at your hotel lobby or at the Port Rashid or Dubai Marina Harbour terminal.

Pickup and drop-off services are available from Dubai hotels or Dubai Cruise Terminal (Port Rashid and Dubai Harbour).
If you are in Sharjah, Ajman, or another emirate, you can select a hotel in Dubai for pickup. Alternatively, we can arrange a private transfer for an additional charge.

Pick up time

Be ready for pick-up from your Dubai hotel between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
You will receive the exact pick-up time around noon on the day of your desert safari.

Payment

During the tour, you can make payments using Euro, US Dollar, Pound Sterling, or the local currency AED. Please note that only cash payments are accepted, and credit cards are not accepted. Cash withdrawals from ATMs using credit cards are possible.
If you choose to pay in Euro, USD, Swiss Francs, or AED, the amount will be converted into AED at the banks’ daily exchange rate.
Alternatively, you have the option to pay in advance by bank transfer after receiving written confirmation via email.

A portion of your desert safari fee will contribute to Dubai’s local conservation.
Hotel pickup is included from hotels within Dubai and is in a shared air-conditioned vehicle (unless otherwise booked). We can pick you up from the nearest hotel if you are staying in a private residence. If you book one of our private vehicles, we will pick you up from your preferred location within Dubai.
Round trip hotel transfers on a shared basis.
As the desert can get quite warm during the day all year round, we recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and cool, comfortable clothing. For desert safaris in winter (November to March), we recommend bringing something warm for the evening.
Children aged between 5 and 11 will be charged the child rate.
If you are traveling with children under five, booking one of our private vehicles is required.
This safari includes a traditional dinner. However, please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking. We can prepare vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free meals
Some vehicles can accommodate up to ten guests.
For the comfort of our guests, we limit the number of guests in our very spacious camps to 75-100 guests
Sanitary facilities are available in the camp.
