After hotel pickup in Abu Dhabi, embark on an unforgettable Al Ain day tour, exploring the traditional city of the sheikhs and one of the most important historical cities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Just a 90-minute drive from Abu Dhabi, this tour offers a deep dive into the culture, history, and desert life of the region.

Your day begins with a visit to Al Jahili Fort, one of the largest and most historic fortresses in the UAE built in the 1890s by Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. Originally serving as a residence for members of the ruling Al Nahyan family, the fort impresses visitors today with its majestic architecture and rich history.

Next, explore Qasr Al Ain, the former presidential palace where the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, lived with his family until 1966. The palace museum offers fascinating insights into the life of the ruling family and showcases traditional Bedouin architecture from 1937. Since 1998, Qasr Al Ain has been a major cultural landmark and tourist attraction.

Continue to the Al Ain Oasis, a UNESCO World Heritage site spanning over 1,200 hectares. Discover the traditional Falaj irrigation system, still providing water to more than 147,000 date palms and fruit trees, offering a unique glimpse into the agricultural heritage of the region.

Not far from the oasis is the traditional Al Ain Market, where locals and visitors shop for fresh produce, dates, honey, fish, meat, and other local goods. Designed in the style of the 1920s, the market provides excellent photo opportunities and a chance to purchase authentic souvenirs.

A highlight of the tour is the Camel Market, located east of Jebel Hafeet, where you can observe camels up close and watch traders negotiate prices. This is a unique experience to witness the traditional Emirati culture and capture unforgettable photos.

Finally, the tour takes you to Jebel Hafeet, the highest mountain in Abu Dhabi at 1,249 meters and the second-highest in the UAE. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding desert. At the foot of the mountain lies Green Mubazzarah, a popular tourist destination and natural habitat for bats, snakes, foxes, and many other wildlife species.
