Your journey begins at the famous Cultural Square, the spiritual heart of the city. Admire the impressive 15-meter-high Quran monument, surrounded by majestic buildings in traditional Islamic architecture, including the Ruler’s Office, the Ahmad Bin Hanbal Mosque, and the Cultural Palace.

Continue to Souk Al Arsah, the oldest market in the UAE. Wander through its climate-controlled covered walkways and marvel at coral brick walls, wooden doors, and hanging lanterns. The charming shops offer pearl jewelry, copperware, perfume oils, incense, and souvenirs – a true journey back in time, reminiscent of 1001 Nights.

Just a few minutes away lies the remarkable Sharjah Islamic Museum, the largest Islamic museum in the Emirates. Here, you’ll discover rare astrolabes, manuscripts, ceramics, coins, and even the gold-embroidered cover of the Kaaba – a must-see for culture and history lovers.

Next, visit the stunning Al Noor Mosque, a masterpiece of Ottoman-Turkish architecture featuring two 52-meter minarets and 34 domes. From here, enjoy a breathtaking view over the Khalid Lagoon – perfect for a memorable photo.
